Quick, friendly, and super efficient service

The reason for the 5-star rating is the exceptional customer service! If there was an option for 6 stars, they would have earned it. We contacted Bob with our inquiries about a folding bike that would suit our RV adventures. Bob not only shared his expertise with Change Bikes but also went above and beyond by asking us detailed questions about our cycling history and what we hoped to achieve in the future.

This collaboration with Bob helped us find the perfect bike for our needs. He took the time to address my wife's requirement for a low seat and an upright riding position, adding components to ease her concerns. His suggestion of the right drivetrain to tackle those steep hills was truly appreciated.

As someone who has experience with road bikes and has completed several century rides, I had a few “can this be done” queries for Bob since I wasn’t keen on a standard drivetrain setup. Bob asked insightful questions, did his homework, and proposed a custom configuration that matched my riding style, then handled all the mechanics to make it happen!

The email exchanges were quick and thorough, providing all the necessary information to help us make our decision. Flatbike also offers discounts for veterans, which I, as a veteran like Bob, found to be a nice touch.

Flatbike truly went above and beyond, fulfilling my order in a hurry so I could bring my bike along to Costa Rica. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and Bob gave some solid advice. The bike arrived in perfect condition, and putting it together was a breeze—totally ready to hit the road!!

I picked these up for my Zizzo folding bike, and they’re fantastic: solid, stylish, and secure. My feet stay put (the pedals have a nice grip). Putting them on was a breeze, and I’m saying that as someone who’s totally new to this kind of stuff. I had a question while setting them up, so I reached out to Flatbike. Bob himself picked up the phone and was super helpful! I’d definitely grab these pedals again in a flash. Great product, superb service. Plus, riding my bike is now even more enjoyable than it was before. :-)

I got my order right on time and I'm really pleased with the product. The innovative features are great, and I appreciated the scanning instructions. Plus, it's from a company based in the Pacific Northwest, which is a nice touch!

Had a fantastic chat with Bob, who replied to all my emails super fast. These bikes are really something. If you're not fussed about having the tiniest folded size, I suggest swapping the handlebar for a longer one, as it makes a world of difference in how the bike handles. Just a heads up, though—you'll need to change out all the brake and shifter cables and tubing to make that longer handlebar fit.

I’m getting the quality parts I need in no time. Big thanks to Flatbike! This is my second pair of those quick detach pedals, and I even got a set for a buddy. My first pair came with the Flatten Your Bike kit that included the ThinStem, which is also fantastic. The Wellgo pedals are just great, and being able to remove them in seconds is a game changer for a folding bike. It makes the bike super compact and a breeze to carry around. It’s absolutely brilliant if you ever have to walk your ebike because of a dead battery or any issues while you’re out riding. Just pop off the pedal, and you won’t have to worry about bruised shins.

Bob's enthusiasm for folding bikes is truly impressive. He and his team crafted a personalized bike for me, going above and beyond to ensure it was perfect. I can't say enough good things about Flatbikes!

I highly recommend the Flat Bike company. My order for a bike faced a delay, but there was a solid reason behind it. After assembling and testing, I noticed a rattle in one of the rims. Even though I was keen on buying replacement rims from another supplier to meet my son's birthday deadline, Bob was adamant about sourcing the replacement from the original supplier. He managed to get it sorted out, and a rattle-free bike was sent out on time at the listed price. Honestly, I doubt many others would have been this meticulous in delivering a bike during these ongoing supply chain challenges. My son is thrilled with his new ride.

I purchased two THINStem folding stems (1.25) for my Wallke X3 Pro e-bikes at full price. They fit like a glove and are constructed from sturdy, welded materials. The included instructions are straightforward and easy to understand. Folding the handlebars has been the best upgrade for these bikes when it comes to transport and storage. The quality of the craftsmanship is top-notch. Thanks a ton!
